Freshly Ground is a neighbourhood specialty coffee shop tucked into the ground floor of the Marriott Executive Residences at Dubai Science Park, Al Barsha South. A South African, Greek-owned brother-and-sister venture, the cafe draws from three homes - the Mediterranean, South Africa, and the UAE - and is built around a simple idea: great coffee is a blend of many origins, people, and rituals, and every cup should taste like it was made on purpose.
We honour earthy ingredients, thoughtful craftsmanship, and the people who turn nature's bounty into beautiful treats. Our baristas pull espresso from seasonal single-origins and a signature house blend, pour filter coffees on rotation, and build velvet-textured cappuccinos and flat whites on full-fat, oat, and almond milk. Beans are available for retail - brewed fresh in store or bagged to take home.

Yes, there is a full all-day menu. Expect sourdough croissants, all-day breakfasts, power protein bowls, wraps and sandwiches, savoury Greek pies, a kids' corner, plus Greek desserts like bougatsa, portokalopita, and revani.

Yes, the menu leans Greek and Mediterranean. Strapatsada scrambled eggs with feta, a Greek breakfast with koulouri bread, spanakopita and tiropita pies, a grilled chicken souvlaki wrap, and traditional desserts like bougatsa and portokalopita are all on offer.

Yes, breakfast runs all day. Highlights include the Breakfast of Champions with South African boerewors, the Greek breakfast, avo toast, the Protein Punch with smoked salmon, and açai and Greek yoghurt bowls.
Can I buy whole beans to brew at home?
Yes, our monthly bean selection is available as retail bags to take home, alongside a small range of South African sweets and pantry treats.

Is there parking at Freshly Ground?
Yes, parking is available. Paid visitor parking is available at the Marriott Executive Residences, and on-street RTA parking is available nearby on Umm Suqeim Road.
